Day 26- Victoria River to rest stop 20km north of Katherine

Had a shower while the goings good and then headed for Katherine. Went to the visitor information centre to get some maps of Kakadu and Litchfield, filled up with petrol and water. $2 drinking water tank refill at the back of the visitor centre. Another bloody nail in tyre, made a good hole but doesn’t seem to be leaking air from the soapy water test. Will keep an eye on it. At a rest stop for the night, plenty of space and pretty flat. Looks a gooden. Bake beans and sausage stew for dinner and a fire.
